Two Positions Available: Entry-Level Landscape Architect and Project Manager
Professional Design Associates is a landscape architecture firm that has specialized in working with commercial and residential developers for over thirty-six years. As an efficient, medium-sized firm, we operate in collaboration with Land Care, an in-house landscape installation company.
Together, our firms offer a great opportunity for project managers and entry-level architects to experience real-world applications and receive valuable feedback. If you’re looking to hone your skills or are currently studying for the landscape architecture exam, we provide a unique learning platform.
We provide landscape architecture and installation services for a variety of projects, including the following:
Wall and fence plans
Parks and recreational areas
Front- and rear-yard packages
Minimum of 4 years’ experience with a landscape architecture firm and proficiency in the latest version of AutoCAD.
A Bachelor of Science degree in Landscape Architecture from an accredited college or university is required.
Project managers are responsible for creating and managing installation packages from concept through construction documentation, client reviews, city submittals, and installation.
Entry-level architects will provide conceptual drawings and offer any and all support required by the project managers.
We’re looking for candidates with a good knowledge of Southern California plant material coupled with irrigation, drainage, and construction-drawing skills. A California-licensed landscape architect is desirable. If not yet licensed, this is the place to prepare. Must be well versed in AutoCAD, experienced with Word and Excel, and have above-average writing and communicative abilities.
